Judith Beeman stumbled out of Radio School into the world of telecommunications at age 24. She's been a telephone operator for BC Tel in Vancouver, Canada for 10 years now and still loves the job, which she considers to be the last of a dying breed. Recently Judith rediscovered the Lily Tomlin album, "This is a Recording" and urges any telephone aficionados wanting to laugh themselves silly to search it out.
